Shipping & Delivery

Processing time (applies to all orders)

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday). Weekends and holidays are not included. During peak seasons, processing may take longer. Shipping time starts after processing. You’ll get an email with tracking once your order ships. Please allow 24-48 business hours for scans to appear. 

Example: An order placed on Friday will be processed Mon-Tue (1-2 business days). If FedEx 1 Day Express is selected, it delivers one business day after it ships.

Free shipping (U.S.)

• All orders shipped to physical addresses within the US will include free shipping
• Possible shipping carriers include USPS and FedEx

Express shipping

• FedEx 1 Day Express orders receive priority handling
• Ships after the 1-2 business day processing window
• Delivers one business day after shipping

Address Accuracy & Returns

NurseInTheMaking is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, we can reship at your expense or refund the product price only (shipping fees are non-refundable). If the order is not returned to us, no credit will be issued.

Important notes

• We cannot guarantee USPS, FedEx, or other carrier timelines
• Rural areas may require additional transit time
• No refunds are provided for late deliveries due to carrier delays

Holiday Shipping Cut-Off Dates

Please note that these dates are published by carriers as recommended cutoff dates. However, carriers do not guarantee that shipping before these dates will ensure delivery by Christmas.

Economy International

Your purchase will be processed and shipped in the order that it is received. A delivery date is not guaranteed.
Transit time and carrier vary, but the economy transit time is usually 3-7 business weeks, bearing in mind any carrier delays and clearing customs. 

Customs Duty & Taxes

Passport Priority Duties and Taxes Paid
International orders include customs duty and taxes/VAT. These charges vary depending on your destination, as well as the weight and size of the package. If you have any questions regarding these fees, please contact the carrier directly.

NurseInTheMaking does not have control over any additional fees that may be imposed by certain destinations and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Freight Shipment 
All international freight shipments are sold Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU/DAP). This means the buyer is responsible for any duties, taxes (including GST), or customs clearance fees assessed by the destination country’s government or customs authority.

Refusal of Delivery

If a package is refused by the buyer due to unpaid customs fees, the buyer forfeits their right to a refund. If the package is returned to us, any return shipping costs and administrative fees charged by the carrier will be deducted from any potential refund.
